Orthopedic Physical Therapy || Sports Injuries

In a world that has become increasingly sedentary, Dr. Sobucki understands the importance of the phrase, “movement is medicine.” He works to help provide the highest quality of care and education to patients while helping to ease pain through a multitude of intervention techniques. Techniques including, but not limited too; manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic exercise, and corrective exercise. By performing therapy techniques, Dr. Sobucki can help patients to acquire the proper mobility, strength, and flexibility to perform pain-free movement allowing patients to return to their prior level of function.

Personal/Sports Performance Training

There is a lot of overlay when it comes to physical therapy and personal training. Physical therapy is more specific to help an injured or affected area of the body and is typically thought of as a predecessor to personal training. Dr. Sobucki can help tailor a specific and personalized regime to help you get back to your former self or even kick your fitness level up a notch.

Vertigo || Vestibular Rehabilitation

After moving to South Florida, Dr. Sobucki realized that there were no therapists specializing in vestibular rehabilitation. This includes the treatment of peripheral vertigo such as BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). This being the most common type of vertigo in the U.S. Treatment would be administered after ruling in the proper diagnosis and ruling out central vertigo which may be caused by more severe conditions such as stroke and traumatic brain injuries. Treatment includes CRM (Canalith Repositioning Maneuver), as well as oculomotor training (eye movements), and balance training to help deliver a multidimensional approach to eliminate symptoms of dizziness, nausea, and giddiness.
